Diary, 1744.

Phillips' diary for the year 1744 contains brief occasional entries, interleaved in Nathaniel Ames' Almanack, recording the preaching of his lectures, visitors, deaths, public fasts and sacrament days, family births, marriages and deaths, and two minor earthquakes which occurred in June. The diary also contains a few references to King George's War, including a proclamation of war in Boston against the French.
